Position Summary

The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to golfers by offering food, beverages, and other merchandise throughout the golf course. This position helps enhance the overall guest experience while maintaining accurate inventory, cash handling procedures, and compliance with all alcohol service regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the beverage cart safely and efficiently throughout the golf course. 
  • Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests. 
  • Sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and other approved merchandise. 
  • Verify age identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with local and state regulations. 
  • Maintain accurate cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions. 
  • Restock beverage cart inventory before, during, and after shifts as needed. 
  • Keep the beverage cart clean, organized, and presentable at all times. 
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management. 
  • Promote daily specials, tournaments, and club events when appropriate. 
  • Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, and golf course policies. 
  • Assist with clubhouse, snack bar, or tournament operations when requested. 
  • Follow all company safety, sanitation, and customer service standards. 
  • Report guest concerns, incidents, or maintenance issues to management promptly. 

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, food service, or retail experience preferred. 
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol as required by state law. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required alcohol service certifications. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills. 
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor. 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. 
  • Ability to safely operate a golf cart for extended periods. 
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks. 


Work Schedule

  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Hours may vary based on golf course activity, tournaments, and seasonal demand.
