About the Role

Your tasks

PAION Pharma is a specialized pharmaceutical company headquartered in Aachen, Germany and part of the Humanwell Healthcare Group. Our focus lies on products in anesthesiology, intensive care and infectious diseases, primarily for use in hospital environments, supporting healthcare professionals in clinical practice.

Currently we are looking for a new team member to support our pharmacovigilance team in Aachen. 
If you have recently graduated from a medical school and are interested in a career in the pharmaceutical industry then this position is the right starting point.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

- Medical review of single case reports
- Supporting the generation and review of aggregate safety reports
- Supporting the management of safety signals
- Supporting the generation and maintenance of standard operation procedures relevant to risk management
- Generation of Risk Management Plans
- Organisation and participation in Safety Management Team meetings
- Development and management of safety communications
- Writing / reviewing answers to assigned safety relevant Health Authority requests
- Ongoing review of emerging safety data from various sources including single case reports
  Product Technical Complaints (PTCs) and published literature and reports from partner functions


Your profile

- University degree in Medicine
- Basic knowledge in pharmacovigilance preferred
- Medical writing skills 
- Analytical mindset
- Fluent in English; German ​language skills are a plus
