About the Role
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations and Shift Management
- Shift Leadership: Take full ownership of managing daily shifts, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal floor coverage at all times.
- Staff Supervision: Actively monitor staff performance, providing real-time coaching and ensuring the team stays motivated and productive.
- Inventory Control: Lead inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular counts, and ensuring supplies are ordered accurately to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Service Standards: Oversee drink and food preparation to guarantee every item meets our Premium Quality promise before reaching the guest.
2. Financial and Performance Oversight
- P&L Responsibility: Assist in managing the outlet’s Profit and Loss. You will be responsible for outlet cost management, focusing on minimizing wastage and controlling operational expenses.
- Fair Scheduling: Create and manage team schedules that are fair and balanced. You must ensure all rosters strictly follow labor act guidelines while meeting business needs.
- Sales Growth: Monitor daily sales targets and work with the Outlet Manager to implement strategies that drive revenue and guest loyalty.
3. Compliance and Safety
- Food Safety Oversight: Ensure the entire team adheres to Food Safety guidelines and maintains a "Clean as You Go" environment.
- Safety First: Act as a champion for safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of both our guests and our team members is never compromised.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous F&B supervisory or management experience is a major star point. Fresh graduates with a strong hospitality background and leadership potential are also welcome.
- Business Acumen: Basic understanding of cost management, inventory systems, and labor regulations.
- Mindset: You must possess a strong "willing to learn" attitude and a beginner mindset, remaining resilient and composed while working under pressure.
- Health Prerequisites: Must have completed the Typhoid Jab prior to your start date.
- Food Handler Training (FHT): Must have or be willing to attend FHT training within the first month.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Character: We look for fair, responsible, and approachable leaders who act with high integrity and a positive spirit.
