About the Role
Description
Park Place of St. John, an Assisted Living Community, located in St. John, IN is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Part Time from 11:00PM - 7:00AM. Park Place of St John is a member of the Providence Life Services family where we are committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve! Pay differential offered.
Night Shift Hours: 11:00PM - 7:00AM. Must be able to work every other weekend.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Responsible for light kitchen duties, cleaning, laundry, etc.
- Make fluids and snacks available between meals and at bedtime.
- Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents.
- Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents.
- Document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty.
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
- Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.
- Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the orientation program.
