SUMMARY

Under general supervision, the Investigator supports the integrity and safety of ADAPT Community Network’s programs by conducting thorough internal investigations, providing administrative oversight of incident reporting systems, and ensuring compliance with OPWDD and Justice Center regulations. This role also delivers training to staff, interfaces with regulatory agencies, and contributes to data tracking and trend analysis.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of the Investigator will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conducting agency investigations, as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support to the Program Support Department.
  • Provides training to staff regarding conducting investigations, incident reporting, and related topics.
  • Assist with management and tracking of information in OPWDD’s IRMA database and interface with the Justice Center to ensure incident closure.
  • Coordinates completion of annual OPWDD Utilization Reviews for ICF Programs.
  • Assists in completion of required Justice Center target letters, submission of SCR target searches, and submission forms for Investigative Records for Abuse and Neglect Allegations.
  • Interfaces with OPWDD incident coordinators to ensure proper classification of incidents.
  • Assists in preparation of annual trend information for incidents.


QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services Related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience of prior work-related experience conducting investigations and program supervision.
  • Ability to write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required are required in order to interact effectively with employees, co-workers, and other departments.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the position, must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fully conversant with OPWDD and agency selected computer software programs.
  • Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of OPWDD regulations/incident management regulations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and teaching skills.
  • Frequent traveling to and between program locations.
  • May require evening and weekend work.
  • Passion for ADAPT's mission and demonstrates a commitment to the non-profit disability sector.


COMPENSATION: $65,000.00 - $69,000.00 Annually + Industry-Leading Benefits!
