About the Role

John Keells Logistics (Pvt) Ltd (JKLL), a fully owned subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC, is a leading Integrated Logistics Services Provider with over 12 years of experience in operating and managing Multi User Logistics fulfillment centers, Diverse transport fleets, Temperature controlled logistics and Supply chain consultancy services spanning across multiple industry verticals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support daily ITV operations to meet client and performance requirements.
  • Assist in preparing operator rosters and ensure proper manpower allocation.
  • Monitor safety compliance and report any incidents or violations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for operators, providing on-ground support and issue resolution.
  • Track key performance indicators such as cycle times and operator productivity.
  • Liaise with clients, port authorities, and internal teams for smooth operations.
  • Prepare and maintain daily operational reports and logs.
  • Support efficient utilization of ITV resources and suggest process improvements.

Person Specifications

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in operations management or a similar role within an industrial or logistics environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) regulations and best practices relevant to industrial operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing frontline teams, with strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced and dynamic settings.
  • Excellent physical stamina and mental resilience to handle operational challenges and demands.
