About the Role

Andover, MA | Anderson School a Partners in Child Development Program  
Rate: $18/per hour

On call substitute position 


We are looking for a Teaching Assistant Substitute who will work on a day-to-day basis and is scheduled as the need arises to cover days normally worked by another teaching assistant. Anderson students are in school between 8:30 and 2:30, so hours are 8:00-3:00pm. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist our special education teachers and school therapists with implementation of IEP goals and objectives.
  • Help with classroom activities and maintaining a clean and neat classroom environment.
  • Support the physical and minimal health needs of our students which may include lifting, positioning, seating, feeding, toileting/diapering, and mobility. 

What You Bring

  • Prior experience working with students with disabilities preferred 
  • Training or coursework in special education preferred 
  • High school diploma or GED
