About the Role

Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize, plan and set targets for construction activities as per the construction work program to ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Establish clear objectives and effective construction works and procedures.
  • Oversee the project/site teams’ setup, monitoring, and tracking progress, provide quality assurance/ status updates/ financial reports, along with the provision of regular updates to Management/ immediate supervisor in order to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor work plans and schedules including sub-contracting plans and mobilization plans.
  • Monitor and track compliance of project including tracking the progress of internal services (i.e. engineering, procurement, is, etc.) and contractual requirements.
  • Resolve conflicts at an operational level and see that problems are promptly identified with corrective actions.
  • Monitor closely matters relating to cost analysis and impact on overall contract value.
  • Motivate and coach staff via training and development; track work progress and conduct performance reviews; recommend staff for promotion in order to build staff competence on the job and encourage motivation.
