Sygnia is looking for a Talented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate would be an experienced bookkeeping professional with a service approach and ability to be precise, collaborative and team player while working in a fast-pace dynamic environment, reporting to the Accountant Manager.
About the Role
This is a hands-on bookkeeping role with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR), client onboarding, and cash management. You will work closely with the accounting team and global Client Leadership, supporting Sygnia’s operations across multiple countries and currencies.
The role offers meaningful responsibility, visibility, and the opportunity to grow into additional financial domains in a fast-paced, high-growth global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of Accounts Receivable, including client onboarding in NetSuite, invoicing, receipts, and collections.
- Direct communication with global customers regarding invoicing, payments, and account setup.
- Monitoring incoming payments, managing credit limits, AR aging, and ensuring healthy cash flow.
- Performing bank reconciliations across multiple banks, currencies, and regions.
- Managing corporate and virtual credit cards (PayEm / PM), including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Maintaining fixed assets and supporting global financial operations across subsidiaries (US, UK, Netherlands, Singapore)
- Playing a key role in the monthly close process through trial balance, including reconciliations, working papers, accruals, and journal entries.
- Supporting external audits and collaborating with the finance team on ad hoc projects.
- Working with advanced financial systems and tools, including NetSuite, PayEm, Monday, and Panax.
Requirements
- Certified Bookkeeper (Level 2) - required.
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a global tech company.
- Experience working with NetSuite - strong advantage.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel - required.
- Excellent English skills (written and verbal) - required.
- Experience working with international clients and service providers - advantage.
- Familiarity with tax authorizations (e.g., VAT, 856 forms) - advantage.
- Experience processing domestic and international payments.
- Highly accurate with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.
