<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Operations Leadership Development Program Associate</p>
<p><strong>Role: </strong>The <strong>Operations Leadership Development Program (“OLDP”) Associate</strong> will implement<br>and improve manufacturing processes required to meet the needs of the operation for both<br>existing and new products. Utilizes and supports individual, team and quality/process<br>improvement efforts. Assures manufacturing processes meet requirements for process<br>capability, safety, customer service and reliability.<br><br><strong>Mission Statement:</strong><br>The Operations Leadership Development Program empowers, equips, and trains the future<br>leaders of Legrand by providing them with growth opportunities, leadership exposure, and real<br>operational challenges in multiple business units.<br><br><strong>Main Job Duties:</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>
<p>Develop leadership skills in Operations through on the job experiences participating on and<br>leading projects that drive high performance in our Operations.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Rotate through technical, supervisory, and project driven positions in Operations during each<br>12-month assignment at a location. Potential project assignments include: Lean<br>Manufacturing/Process Controls/Formal Kaizens, Technology and Plant Floor improvements,<br>Quality Control, Supply Chain, Operational Productivity and Financial Metrics, Engineering/New<br>Product Development, and Employee Engagement, all with an emphasis on project leadership,<br>technical proficiency, and supervisory skills.</p>

<li>
<p>Design and implement process improvements, work as part of a team addressing process,<br>quality, or lean improvement opportunities, and lead teams to complete productivity, lean,<br>quality, and product startup projects.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Interact daily with factory workers, engineers, supervisors, planners and others, and take<br>direction from leaders at the specific site.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Present results of projects and initiatives with the Legrand North America senior leadership<br>team and have ongoing contact with the executive sponsor of the program.</p>
</li>
</ol>
<p><br><strong>Education:</strong><br>BS degree in Engineering with concentrations in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical or<br>Industrial Engineering or similar technical degrees are preferred.</p>
<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Proven work ethic through internship, prior research or co-op experience in engineering or<br>manufacturing</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proven experience effectively working in teams</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ideally prior experience working with an organization that utilizes continuous improvement<br>processes</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Demonstrated leadership aptitude</p>
