About the Role

Role:

Ardian Tokyo office is looking for an intern for the summer of 2026. The Intern will work among investor relations team to handle multiple projects and daily tasks. The Intern is expected to deliver quality outputs in a timely manner, and provide valuable insights to the respective teams and management.           

Key responsibilities for the positions include:

  • Screen Japanese institutional investor market
  • Produce market research and intelligence reports
  • Translate and/or develop marketing materials (marketing presentation, due diligence pack, etc.)
  • Produce quantitative and financial data to assist investor due diligence
  • Prepare responses to technical questions regarding underlying funds/companies
  • Develop transversal reporting for existing clients
  • Update database and marketing statistics for internal and regulatory purposes
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting presentations

Profile:

  • Students or graduates of top business/finance schools or universities (Master’s degree and/or Major in Finance would be a comparative advantage)
  • Strong commercial understanding of Private Equity
  • Ideally the candidate would have prior experience in investment bank, corporate advisory, private equity, or financial audit positions
  • Fluency in Japanese and English

Required Skills:

  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office programs
  • Proficiency in corporate and private equity funds financial models
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to details
  • Responsiveness and timeliness
  • Interpersonal skills to be a strong team player
