About the Role

Description

  • Oversees daily shipment activities and monitors timeliness of of shipments for assigned automotive accounts
  • Communicates with suppliers, customers, carriers and internal departments 
  • Manages all incoming calls effectively. 
  • Initiates outbound calls to carriers and drivers to confirm timely arrivals and communicate any pertinent information or concerns. 
  • Promptly input shipment updates into multiple systems and conveying information via email. 
  • Resolve shipments discrepancies in real-time, escalating when necessary to Account Managers 
  • Remain flexible and adaptable to evolving business requirements. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One (1) year minimum experience with automotive freight 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new technology systems quickly
