About the Role
Description
The Electrician position will assist technical teams of detailers, designers and engineers to create world class detail on a variety of projects. The position will help complete many tasks including prewiring containers with lights and switches, and running wires to pumps, motors and generators.
- Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Reading different types of schematics and P&ID’s
- Recording materials that are used on the job.
- Commercial/ industrial experience
- Bending and installing conduit ranging from sizes 1/2'” to 4”
- Terminating a variety of wire styles and sizes in panels.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Valid current state/local electrical license (Preferred)
- Two years of trade school or related experience (Preferred)
- Two years of experience as an electrician in a similar-sized institution in an engineering or maintenance occupation.
- Working knowledge of local, state and the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Knowledge of AC and DC wiring is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in collaborative team environment.
- Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
