Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
• Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities.
• Fabricate and weld components as required for repairs or improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work orders and materials used.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and general repair techniques.
• Leadership skills to guide less experienced team members in maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with welding techniques and fabrication processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
