About the Role
Mar-Bella Collection: A family-owned group of four award winning five-star luxury hotels, dotted around the Ionian Sea in Greece & curated to suit the ever-changing needs of guests across different stages of their life. The iconic MarBella, perfect for families and multi-generational groups, the adults-only Nido, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World, and Avali, the latest addition to the Mar-Bella Collection portfolio are located on the island of Corfu. Elix is on the Ionian coast of mainland Greece and lays in a stunning location above Karavostasi beach between Parga and Syvota.
Mar-Bella Collection is looking for a F&B Manager to join our team in Perdika, Thesprotia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the entire operation of the F&B outlets
- Closely works with the Hotel Manager and the F&B Director to continually enhance and advance the hotel's services and operations
- Ensures SOP implementation in F&B departments
- Ensures that the F&B operational staff and managers/supervisors are properly trained according to Mar-Bella Collection standards and the hotel's code of conduct and are able to carry out the operations of each function of their department offering top tier services to our guests
- Ensures food & beverage quality and has effectively forecasted F&B needs
- Works with F&B staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper food-handling procedures
- Responsible for all the F&B staff appearance, hygiene and attitude to their colleagues
- Arranges and keeps track of maintenance and repair of equipment and other services when needed
- Organizes our monthly inventory records based on the internal inventory procedures
- Excellent knowledge in HACCP & ISO procedures
- Participates in the yearly budget preparation, takes corrective actions when required
- Maintains records and prepares reports on a weekly and monthly basis on operating costs, budget, forecasts
- Maintains budget and employee records
- Handles effectively guests complains
- Participates in staff recruitment
- Degree in Hospitality/Tourism. MBA or Master's Degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset
- Minimum 3 years resort experience as a Food and Beverage Manager at a five-star hotel
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication skills with a very strong customer-focused approach
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Hands-on approach and positive attitude
- Professional communication skills with an innate teamwork mentality
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of own actions
