Traffic / NOc Engineer

Job Description <p>The NOC/ Traffic Engineer coordinates between DM Project Team and supervision teams, Contractor NOC representative and local authorities in Dubai. He reviews design deliverables with local authorities and seeks necessary approvals and permits in a timely manner.</p><p>The jobholder is the key conduit of authorities comments and requests for design changes to relevant project teams to ensure the incorporation of requested changes. He shall stay abreast of all changes in local engineering / construction related regulations and codes and ensure that all changes are communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.</p><p>Responsibilities and qualifications include:</p><ul><li>In depth knowledge of engineering standards and codes</li><li>Sound knowledge of local authorities' regulations, codes and guidelines</li><li>Solid knowledge of engineering design</li><li>Good communication, organization and planning skills</li><li>Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic</li><li>8+ years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry in a top tier regional / multinational engineering consultancy firm, with demonstrated roles in design or authorities' coordination</li><li>Experience with authorities coordination for large projects within the region</li><li>Experience within the Dubai is preferred</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering</li></ul><p>About Stantec: We're active members of the communities we serve.
