About the Role

Müller's Solutions is seeking a skilled VMware vRealize Automation Specialist, exclusively for Saudi Nationals. In this position, you will leverage your knowledge of VMware technologies to oversee and automate our cloud infrastructure, ensuring both efficiency and performance. You will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and support of our vRealize Automation projects, assisting organizations in streamlining operations and enhancing their IT resource management.

The role operates on an 8x5 schedule with on-call support and entails designing, developing, and managing the cloud automation platform utilizing VMware vRealize Automation (vRA). This position emphasizes automating the provisioning of infrastructure, creating a centralized service catalog, and integrating with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps tools to expedite service delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop vRealize Automation solutions tailored to fulfill client requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain vRealize Automation environments, including handling upgrades and patches.
  • Utilize vRealize Automation to streamline the provisioning of virtual machines, containers, and applications, minimizing the need for manual intervention. Automate intricate workflows and processes, such as application deployment, configuration management, and lifecycle management.
  • Promote collaboration between development and operations teams by incorporating vRA with DevOps tools and methodologies.
  • Enhance infrastructure efficiency and automate IT service delivery utilizing VMware tools.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to establish policies and procedures concerning automation.
  • Diagnose issues related to VMware environments and deliver effective solutions.
  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements.d advancements in VMware technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with VMware vRealize Automation or similar VMware solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of virtualization technologies and cloud computing principles.
  • Holder of VMware Aria Automation: Install, Configure, Manage [V8.10] certification. Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell. Experienced with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible. Familiar with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Knowledgeable in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experienced with Git and version control systems.
  • Authorized to create and implement automation workflows for provisioning. Tasked with building and maintaining the vRA service catalog. Authorized to integrate vRA with third-party IaC and CI/CD tools. Responsible for automating intricate lifecycle management processes.
  • Availability for 8x5 work hours and on-call support. A strong automation-centric approach. Exceptional collaboration abilities for partnering with development and operations teams.
  • Experience in using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation purposes.
  • Skilled in configuring and managing VMware vSphere environments.
  • Understanding of IT service management concepts and practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of functioning effectively within a team setting.
  • Saudi National status is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant VMware certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP) are preferred.
  • Familiarity with networking and storage technologies in virtual environments.
  • Experience with cloud management platforms and integrations is advantageous.
