Staff Specialist IP Administration (f/m/div)

Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Technical and functional responsibility for the coordination, documentation and implementation of electronic processes in the patent department's IP management system
- Translating internal process requirements into technical specifications and testing and approving adjustments to the IP management system by the software provider
- Managing and participating in process and software changes in the patent administration
- Analyzing and utilizing new IP management system features, as well as optimizing and implementing them
- Setting up, maintaining and further developing interfaces between the IP management system and internal and external databases, research and drafting tools, and the patent and trademark offices
- Monitor and troubleshoot the IP management system during regular operations, and create complex queries and data analyses using AI-supported tools
- Support the patent administration in M&A activities, such as coordinating the creation or transfer of files during patent portfolio transactions, and manage as well as further develop inventor remuneration processes and related tools

As a Senior Specialist IP Administration, you promote an awareness for continuous quality in your area of work. Furthermore, you set yourself ambitious goals. Lastly, you accept responsibility for common
goals and put the team’s results above your own interests.
- Degree or relevant vocational training in law, paralegal, IT or a related field
- Practical experience in defining and implementing requirements in electronically supported software systems, preferably in the patent field
- Knowledge of the configuration of the UNYCOM IP management system or related systems
- Relevant experience in improving cross-functional workflows and implementing configuration changes in an electronic software environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
- Willingness to continuously learn, train others and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent German and English, other languages desirable
