Lead the Shop. Own the Fleet. Drive the Profit.
Budget is recruiting a battle-tested Automotive Claims Manager—think Shop Manager meets Fleet Commander—to run fleet maintenance, body damage claims, and vendor networks like a high-performance service department. If you’ve profitably managed bays, negotiated with body shops, and kept downtime in the red zone, this is your lane.
THE SHOP YOU’LL RUN (Fleet-Wide)
- Fleet Lifecycle Command
- Own in-fleeting/out-fleeting: inspections, onboarding, decommissioning
- Document every dent, mile, and dollar from acquisition to auction
- Preventative Maintenance Mastery
- Schedule PMs to crush downtime and repair costs
- Enforce OEM & regulatory compliance (no shortcuts, no surprises)
- Body Damage & Claims Domination
- Estimate repairs with surgical accuracy
- Coordinate body shops, approve supplements, and close claims fast
- Manage insurance files and follow-ups like a claims adjuster on steroids
- Fuel Program Control
- Track usage, expenses, KDHE certifications, and reporting
- Squeeze every cent out of fuel budgets
- Parts & Inventory Precision
- Stock tools, supplies, and parts to keep techs moving
- Zero downtime due to “out of stock”
- Vendor Negotiation & SLAs
- Build iron-clad relationships with body shops, parts houses, and fuel vendors
- Hammer out pricing and turnaround times that beat market rates

- Proven fleet or shop management experience – you’ve run fixed ops or fleet maintenance
- Deep knowledge of vehicle systems, PM schedules, and repair workflows
- Estimating expertise – body damage, supplements, and insurance claims
- Vendor negotiation swagger – you get the best rates and fastest turns
- Organizational firepower – juggle schedules, parts, and claims without dropping a wrench
