About the Role

Description

 

This position is responsible for providing customer service and    support to the Private Client Personal Insurance clients and      prospects of Christensen Group. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Provide service support for personal lines products to new and existing high net worth policyholders. 
  • Solicits potential high net worth policy holders through a variety of methods such as in person or over the phone. 
  • Conducts policy comparisons to other insurance carriers and provides advice to customers. 
  • Communicates with clients in a fair and ethical manner. 
  • Provides quotes and coverage comparisons. 
  • Manages a book of business with the objective of providing quality and timely service that exceeds our client’s expectations so that we retain business. 
  • Help our customers with billing, claims, and/or other questions. 
  • Properly document within the client management system and follow department procedures. 
  • Maintain knowledge of carrier products, niches, and differences. 
  • Accurately bill our policies. 
  • Completes projects as assigned. 
  • Stay current on the various computer related systems and programs of our carriers and the agency.  

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain culture of employee ownership – contribute time and support to agency/carrier events or activities that strengthen our culture 
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment 
  • Accept special assignments as directed by Department Managers 
  • Support agency directives in effectively managing agency/carrier relationships 
  • Work openly and constructively with team members to reinforce the importance of delivering an efficient, effective and high-quality work product 
  • Represent Christensen Group in the greatest professional and ethical manner possible 
  • Provide the ultimate customer experience within the boundaries of the organization’s capabilities 
  • Demonstrate general knowledge of agency carriers, carrier/broker marketplace and underwriting in order to coordinate with insurance companies to address client issues and solve client problems 
  • Keep management informed of known actions, written or verbal that may affect the ability to successfully perform assignments or adversely affect the Company operations 
  • Contribute to creating a safe and fun learning environment 
  • Commit to continued education to grow skills and knowledge 

Requirements

 

  • 6 years of personal lines (private client) experience (required). 
  • Resident property and casualty insurance license (required). 
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional oral and written communications skills (required). 
  • Knowledge of High Net Worth personal lines products and carriers (required). 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Excel (required). 
  • Superior client servicing skills (required). 
  • High attention to detail (required). 
  • CIC or CISR designations (preferred). 
  • Experience with Epic (preferred).
