Special Education Teacher | Reno, NV | 2025–2026 School Year
A school district in Reno, Nevada is seeking a motivated Special Education Teacher to join a collaborative and student-focused team for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic learning environment that prioritizes inclusive practices and data-driven instruction.
As a Special Education Teacher, you will design and deliver specialized instruction that supports students with disabilities in accessing the general education curriculum. You will be responsible for developing and overseeing IEPs, implementing evidence-based interventions, and tracking student progress to support academic and behavioral success.
You will work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated support across settings. Your work will contribute to a structured, engaging classroom environment where students are encouraged to grow, participate, and achieve their goals.
Primary Duties:
Familiarity with IDEA requirements and IEP processes.
Valid Nevada Special Education teaching license or eligibility to obtain.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
