About the Role
<p>The Purchasing &amp; Inventory Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end inventory and procurement activities to ensure material availability, cost efficiency, and optimal stock levels. This role plays a key part in supplier coordination, stock monitoring, and controlling material usage to support operational efficiency and COGS control.</p><p></p><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage purchasing activities for raw materials and operational supplies.</p></li><li><p>Maintain and monitor daily inventory stock levels across sites.</p></li><li><p>Track material movement, usage, and potential wastage.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost effectiveness.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.</p></li><li><p>Support stock opname and inventory reconciliation processes.</p></li><li><p>Monitor inventory aging and recommend replenishment or adjustment actions.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with operations and finance to support COGS control.</p></li></ul><p><strong>You will fit in this job if you:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.</p></li><li><p>3–5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain operations.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of inventory control and stock management principles.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with suppliers and purchase documentation.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in Excel or inventory management systems (ERP is a plus).</p></li><li><p>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.</p></li><li><p>Good communication and coordination skills.</p></li><li><p>Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.</p></li></ul>
