About the Role
Moon Active is one of the world's fastest-growing mobile game companies, providing entertainment to millions of active users across the universe. The company is headquartered in the heart of Tel Aviv.
We are looking for an ambitious Market Researcher to act as a strategic partner to our games business teams. In this role, you will translate complex market dynamics into the insights that drive our competitive edge and fuel the company’s growth.
Responsibilities
- Play and deconstruct top-grossing titles to analyze monetization loops, engagement strategies, player psychology, and user behavior - identifying which features work, and more importantly, why they work
- Conduct deep-dive research across Product, Design, Monetization, Economy, and Marketing to ensure our games and overall player experience remain at the forefront of the landscape
- Influence the studio’s direction by identifying industry shifts and emerging trends that drive business decisions and long-term scaling
- Partner with Product teams to ideate and design new features, leveraging market intelligence to turn creative concepts into high-impact game mechanics
- Deliver convincing and creative presentations to business teams and executive stakeholders, providing actionable insights and feedback that translate complex problems into solutions
- Monitor the global market, including soft launches and unannounced titles, to identify emerging trends that shape our new business directions and potential growth through external partnerships
- Master advanced research and business tools to transform raw industry data into refined, competitive intelligence
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a role related to research, analysis, product, or game design
- A product-oriented mindset combined with a business-driven approach, with the ability to actively contribute to the ideation, design, and creation of new features
- Strong ability to balance quantitative data with qualitative insights and a deep understanding of player experience to form a holistic market view
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence business strategy at a high level
- Professional-level English (verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- A keen curiosity for the mobile gaming industry, social media platforms, and emerging technology trends
