About the Role
Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Kadena , Okinawa 9040200 Japan
Duties:
- Login/order patient lab tests
- Issue collection kits
- Perform phlebotomy of patients
- Perform sample processing which includes:
- Centrifugation.
- Pouring off of samples into shipping tubes.
- Plating microbiology samples.
- Preparing sample shipments.
- Perform/review waived clinical laboratory testing in accordance with established operating instructions (OI), ensuring reporting of accurate results within established turnaround time.
- Maintain records of work accomplished, time expended, and prepare/review reports as required.
Qualification:
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Phlebotomy Certification or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certificate through a nationally accredited agency.
