What’s on offer?

Join Fulton Hogan’s Bridges & Structures team in Bunbury as a Formworker, supporting supervisors on bridge refurbishment, replacement and reinforced concrete works across WA, while developing your construction career with on-the-job training and maintaining strict Living Safety 2.0 standards through active hazard and incident reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, install and strip timber and reinforced concrete formwork for bridges and structures.
  • Assist with concrete pours, finishing, and curing.
  • Read basic drawings and set out formwork to specification.
  • Operate small to medium plant/equipment (e.g., EWP, compactors) where licensed.
  • Maintain site safety: hazard reporting, pre-starts, and compliance with Living Safety 2.0.

About You

  • Certificate III in Carpentry or demonstrated experience.
  • A willingness to participate and learn all aspects of timber, concrete bridge and reinforced concrete construction.
  • strong desire to learn to operate small to medium sized construction machinery.
  • Valid White Card and Drivers' Licence (HR or above preferred).
  • Work well as part of a team, coordinating with other operators and workers to achieve a streamlined approach to business.
  • Have knowledge of operating and maintaining heavy vehicles.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.
  • Strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
