Line Cook
Club Fortune North is looking for high energy, fast paced Kitchen Staff to join our operations!  The responsibility of our kitchen staff is to produce the highest quality food with precision and accuracy, continually observing and implementing the proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Line Cook preferred
  • Serve Safe Certification preferred

Language Ability

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral

Math Ability

  • Basic mathematical skills for portion sizes, measurements, and recipes

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times

Reasoning Ability

  • Apply superior sanitation standards
  • Knowledge of hot and cold food storage requirements
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, loud, crowded environment that has varying temperatures

Physical Requirements

  • Stand with full range of mobility for extended periods
  • Reaching, bending, stretching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and perform repetitive motions

Certificates & Licenses

  • Serve Safe Certification preferred but not required
  • NV Food Handling Health Card required
