Deli Attendant

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by providing prompt, friendly service, resolving complaints, and addressing customer questions. Deli Attendants take customer orders, assemble food items, and process transactions as cashiers. Food is typically served over the counter, and on occasion, attendants may serve food on trays.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage brands, drink preparation, and applicable health standards
• Ability to describe all menu items, prices, and methods of preparation
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Experience with point of sale (POS) system preferred
• Must be able to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours
• Physical abilities include grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, listening, hearing, and visual acuity
• Manual dexterity required to operate all necessary equipment
