About the Role

Description

Provide efficient cleanliness and sanitation of all restaurant dishes, including but not limited to scraping off food, rinsing and loading dishes into dishwasher in an organized, efficient manner. Ensure clean dishes are available in kitchen area and wait staff stations at all times. Maintain the overall cleanliness and sanitary state of the dishwashing machine and area at all times. Responsible for the stocking and cleanliness of salad bar during assigned shift, in addition to providing support for Prep Cooks and banquet functions.

  • Wage: $17.25 - $18.25, depending on experience.
  • Schedule: Tuesday - Wednesday (8:00am - 3:00pm)
  • Work Status: Part-Time

Requirements

  •  One year of related dishwashing experience is highly desired; food prep experience is a plus!
  • Valid Oregon Food Handler's Card required within 30 days of employment.
  • Overall knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safety procedures and food handling required.
  • Ability to speak in English is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
