About the Role

Description

The Park Services Team Member is responsible for providing on-site support for the daily operations within park grounds. This role focuses on ensuring the park remains safe, clean, and welcoming while assisting with a variety of operational tasks, including grounds maintenance, event preparation, and the use of specialized equipment as required.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain park grounds, including cleaning, litter removal, restroom upkeep, and landscaping support.
  • Provide assistance to guests by answering questions, offering directions, and ensuring compliance with park rules.
  • Operate and maintain park equipment, including carts, small utility vehicles, and, where applicable, heavy machinery under supervision.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down park events, recreational activities, and seasonal programs.
  • Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly to supervisors.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a high standard of park presentation and guest satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, maintenance, or customer service is a plus.
  • Ability to safely operate park equipment and machinery; prior experience preferred.
  • Strong physical stamina for performing manual labor in outdoor environments.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and guest service skills.
  • Commitment to safety standards for staff and visitors.

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and twisting upper body for long periods of time 
  • Capable of viewing computer monitors.
  • The work environment is an outdoor park environment with continuous outdoor activity and exposure to extreme weather conditions.
  • Must remain alert with no lapses of consciousness 
  • Continuous requirement for professional demeanor and appropriate park staff attire
