Travel Registered Nurse – PCU / Med-Surg – Nights

Position Overview:
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment at the Ohio State Brain and Spine Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. This role supports a mixed-acuity PCU and Med-Surg patient population in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Schedule:
• Night shift
• 3x12-hour shifts
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Rotating weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Traveler will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed
Compensation:
• Gross: $2,359 per week
• W2: $24.50 per hour
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,477 per week
• Locals accepted at the same rate
Contract Details:
• Start Date: February 23, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Scheduling Type: Facility scheduling
• Orientation: 24 hours
Unit Overview:
• PCU with Med-Surg overflow
• Adult patient population
• Estimated patient ratios: 1:3–1:4
Clinical Focus:
• Progressive care and telemetry monitoring
• Cardiac and neurological patient care
• Floating to equivalent or lower acuity units as needed
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg RN experience required
• PCU experience preferred; Med-Surg RN experience accepted
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to float within the OSU organization as needed
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Valid compact or Ohio RN license required at time of submission
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
