About the Role

In this position... 

The position will be responsible for data integration, quality management, and optimization to ensure efficient and reliable data operations.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Data Analyst to join our team, focusing on the Global Access Control System and related security technologies. This position is increasingly vital due to the growing complexity and interconnectedness of Ford's security technology ecosystem. This critical role has evolved to require specialized expertise in data integration, quality management, and optimization to ensure efficient and reliable data operations across our global infrastructure. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our security posture through advanced data analysis and system integration. The increasing number of requests for complex integrations highlights the specialized technical expertise required for both design and application development, as well as the ongoing management of these critical security systems.

What you'll do...

  • Complex System Integrations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage integrations, primarily the Ford enterprise badging system, and integrate data with business systems using various tools (Alteryx, SSIS, Kafka, Actian Dataconnect, etc.).
  • Specialized Technical Expertise: SME in application design and development related to security systems, ensuring seamless communication and functionality across platforms.
  • Ongoing Management and Support: Responsible for the continuous operation, maintenance, data profiling, and troubleshooting of integrated security systems.
  • Data Analysis: Provides analysis of data from integrated systems to optimize performance, identify trends, and enhance security posture.
  • Data Integrity: Define and implement data quality management rules and workflows and ensure adherence to data governance and security best practices.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data analysis, system integration, and data quality management.
  • Demonstrated expertise with data integration tools such as Alteryx, SSIS, Kafka, and Actian Dataconnect.
  • Strong understanding of security systems and global access control principles.
  • Experience in application design and development, particularly within a security technology context.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex integrated systems and perform data profiling.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and optimize system performance.

You'll have...

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in commensurate work
  • Proven experience in data analysis, system integration, and data quality management.
  • Demonstrated expertise with data integration tools such as Alteryx, SSIS, Kafka, and Actian Dataconnect.
  • Strong understanding of security systems and global access control principles.
  • Experience in application design and development, particularly within a security technology context.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex integrated systems and perform data profiling.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and optimize system performance.

  • Data/Database: Oracle, Microsoft Access, SQL Server Databases, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon S3

This position is a range of salary grades 6-7 .

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
