The Head of Compliance for Europe will be a member of the Ethics and Legal Compliance Department (DJEC) and the EURA Legal Department, and will collaborate with other DJEC teams and all other departments within the Group and the European region.

This position will report directly to the General Counsel for the Europe/Africa region, with a functional link to the Group's Head of Ethics and Compliance.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Promote the company's ethics and compliance rules and policies in Europe;
  • Advise, in coordination with the Group's Ethics and Compliance Department, on the implementation of ethics and compliance controls in regional business processes and serve as the E&C partner to all Legal, Ethics, and Compliance officers in Europe;
  • Collaborate with regional/local internal and external stakeholders to manage ethics and compliance risks;
  • Train management and employees on ethics and compliance risks;
  • Conduct audits;
  • Provide regular reporting to the Group's Ethics and Compliance department and to the EURA GC;
  • Conduct investigations and monitor corrective action plans;
  • Conduct site visits to countries within the sub-region and provide effective support to local legal and E&C departments;
  • Disseminate and promote communications on Ethics and Compliance topics;
  • Participate in the Group's monthly Ethics and Compliance network and lead the E&C network in Europe;
  • Contribute to Group working groups to ensure pragmatic and applicable compliance processes at the regional and national levels;
  • Provide operational support to the EURAF legal team as needed.

Qualifications

University degree in law.

Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in a similar role.

Pragmatic, with strong drafting and communication skills, including in English.

Rigorous, persuasive, and a strong negotiator.

Able to adapt within a multicultural environment.

A hands‑on business‑partner mindset with a solution‑oriented approach, and the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Language: an excellent command of English is required. Another European language would be an asset, in particular Polish, Romanian, or Ukrainian.
