About the Role

Baby Fox Academy is looking for an AWESOME FULL TIME Teacher for our one-year-old classroom, to join our team at our Lakewood Ranch facility! At this location, we serve infants through VPK.


Our perfect applicant will want to jump right in and play with our little foxes because at Baby Fox Academy…..Having FUN is a MUST!

Some things we look for in applicants:

  • High School Diploma/GED (REQUIRED)
  • Able to pass background check (REQUIRED)
  • Experience working in a childcare environment, with INFANTS (REQUIRED)
  • CDA/FCCPC and/or degree in ECE or related field AND Staff Credential (Preferred)
  • 45 hours of Early Childhood Training (REQUIRED)
  • CPR Certification (preferred)
  • SUPER ENERGETIC, Friendly, Responsible, Organized, NOT AFRAID TO GET MESSY and HAVE FUN!(REQUIRED)

Responsibilities
- Must be able to fully implement classroom lesson plans. Lesson plans are completed by classroom teachers (lesson plan training provided).
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and engaging learning experience.
- Provide individualized attention and support to students to meet their academic and social needs.
- Communicate effectively with staff and the administrative team to share student progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational program.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education and incorporate them into daily teaching strategies.
- Foster a love for learning through creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, both on their own and as a team, to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in the field of early childhood education, including a state annual conference out of town.
