About the Role

Description

 

We are looking for an experienced and driven Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is essential to the effective operation of our facility and is responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and administration of safety programs. In addition to core HR responsibilities, this position will assist with general administrative support and ensure alignment with corporate HR initiatives and company-wide objectives. 


Key Responsibilities:


Utilize your experience in manufacturing environments to:

· Manage full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, background checks, and onboarding processes for hourly production and professional roles.

· Manage TPA relationships effectively

· Administer employee benefits programs and act as a point of contact for employee questions related to benefits and company policies.

· Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.

· Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations, ensuring consistent and fair application of company policies.

· Assist with the implementation and monitoring of performance management processes including reviews, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.

· Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely data entry in HRIS systems.

· Ensure facility compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations and corporate policies.

· Collaborate with plant leadership and central support HR on initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.

· Process payroll, conduct timekeeping audits, and compile HR metrics and reporting as required.

· Assist with corporate-driven projects and programs, including safety initiatives, audits, policy rollouts, training, and other special assignments that contribute to organizational goals.

· Administer safety programs

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

 

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field, and 6-8 years of progressive HR experience, consistently on site with your internal customer(s)

· At least 4 years experience leading the HR function in a Manufacturing environment

· At least 4 years experienced in recruiting skilled manufacturing labor and technical staff.

· Experience with administration of benefits

· Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.).

· Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

· Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.


Preferred Qualifications:


· Experience working with unions or maintaining positive union-free environments.

· ERP/HRIS Proficiency Experience using systems like SAP, Oracle, or ADP to track production labor hours.

· Bilingual Spanish
