About the Role

Description

The IT Warehouse Management/3PL Solution Analyst will lead cross-functional projects that align business objectives with technological solutions. This position will be tasked with designing, configuring, supporting, and advising warehouse business stakeholders throughout the implementation of new WMS/3PL functionalities. This position entails delivering high-quality consulting services by understanding business requirements, translating them into robust functional designs, and ensuring optimal outcomes through system configuration or collaborative team development.

Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements, managing an enhancement backlog, and overseeing the entire lifecycle of functional changes, including testing, training, and tracking user adoption. Additionally, this role supports key day-2-day processes as well as business transformation initiatives, such as acquisition integration.


Responsibilities

  • Facilitate client walkthroughs to analyze business workflows and align them with ERP SCM functionality
  • Act as a trusted IT advisor, working closely with stakeholders to collect and clarify business requirements
  • Recommend the best ways to leverage WMS features, paying particular attention to warehouse setup, pick/pack operations, wave processing, inventory management, and logistics
  • Work with integration teams to address interface needs and ensure seamless cross-application workflows
  • Participate in essential project phases such as configuration, testing, training, data migration, and change management
  • Oversee or guide teams dedicated to ongoing improvements and iterative delivery of WMS capabilities
  • Act as main level 2 support for WMS/3PL troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Create innovative solutions for the 3PL team that tackle complex business issues
  • Offer strategic advice on integration by applying EDI and API web services designs within comprehensive technology transformations
  • Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders through clear communication and consistently excellent delivery

Requirements

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline 
  • At least 5 years’ experience working with Advanced Warehousing and WMS platforms
  • Demonstrated hands-on skill in warehouse setup, pick/pack operations, wave processing, and managing inventory
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively engage stakeholders
  • Competent in using WMS systems like Softeon, RF-Smart, or similar technologies
  • Experienced with Jira, Microsoft Teams, and the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and digital product management is a plus
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and promote teamwork among technical, business, and executive teams
  • Configured and deployed barcode scanners and label printers in logistics or supply chain settings
  • Proficient at examining complex datasets and turning insights into actionable business strategies
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a record of spotting inefficiencies and implementing data-driven improvements.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
