Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

General Duties

  1. Manages and organizes the Spa, Wellness and Fitness Centre with mission is to ensure the area is well stocked and well maintain at all time with focus on Wellness and Wellbeing of all guest in the Resort.  This is accomplished within the scope of a budget and in conformity with well- defined management norms
  2. To support the operation as Spa receptionist and assist guest with Fitness and Yoga facilities whenever is needed
  3. Responsible for planning, directing, controlling, co-coordinating and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in Wellness and Wellbeing activities
  4. Responsible for the operation of the Spa department (including  Fitness and The Shop), overall condition and maintenance of the property, repair and up keeping of the furniture, fixtures and equipment's, installations, systems and buildings of the Spa, Wellness and Fitness Area. Both in term of assets and respect of equipment in all area

General Responsibilities

  1. Gather information and remain fully informed of local and international trends in Spa operations, recommends new and up to date treatments as necessary for improvement
  2. Develop and maintain Wellness and Fitness activities for in house guest during stay with focus on personalized program based on guest profile and needs
  3. Develop and maintain the Shop as the only retail of the Resort to make sure that all items on sale are accounted for at all times, to make sure selection of item are of highest luxury standard
  4. Responsible for the operation of the Spa department (including  Fitness and The Shop), overall condition and maintenance of the property, repair and up keeping of the furniture, fixtures and equipment's, installations, systems and buildings of the Spa, Wellness and Fitness Area. Both in term of assets and respect of equipment in all area
  5. Regular checking at treatment room, fitness center, The shop, The Sanctuary, to ensure the cleanliness meets the Resort standards
  6. Ensures that all pantries are adequately stocked with linen according to set policies, neatly organized, and their doors kept closed at all times
  7. Follow all training the staff to improve productivity, courtesy and discipline
  8. Report any guest complaint and accident to superior and record to Recovery Service Management (RSM)
  9. Ensures that cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards are strictly observed
  10. Coordinate with engineering for all maintenance and defects found in SPA & wellbeing area, record it and report to Director of SPA & Wellbeing in Charge and ensures that any required repairs/maintenance is completed as soon as possible
  11. Responsible on regular inventory of all linen, products chemical and cleaning equipment which are related to work area and maintenance the accuracy of data’s given to superior.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Spa Therapist and Wellness in a Luxury Property
  • At least having Skill of 3 Body Massage, 3 Body Treatment, 1 Beauty Treatment
  • Good Appearance and Healthy
  • Excellent conduct of English on verbal and written
  • Knowledge of local regulations related to Spa, Fitness and Wellness is a must
