The Role  

As a Business Development Professional, your role is to drive the growth and expansion of the company by identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for building relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders, and formulating strategies to increase revenue and market share. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills. 

What You Will Do

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and conversion targets as defined by management. 

• Identify, prospect, and qualify potential customers within defined target markets and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).

• Research and build targeted account lists, identifying key buyers and influencers within prospective organizations.

• Engage and qualify inbound and outbound leads through discovery conversations to assess fit, need, and buying potential.

• Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Sales Executives and other sales team members.

• Develop and nurture relationships with prospective customers to progress them through the early stages of the sales/marketing funnel.

• Continuously refine outreach messaging and positioning based on market feedback, competitive insights, and customer needs.

• Accurately document activities, lead status, and pipeline progression within the CRM, and report on key performance metrics. 

• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align on targeting, messaging, and lead generation strategies. 

• Build and maintain strong product, market, and competitive knowledge, staying informed on relevant industry trends.

Requirements

  

What You Will Bring

• 1-2 years of inside sales experience 

• Knowledge of the Broadband Market. Knowledge of Layer 1 equipment a plus.

• Experience with CRM software.

• Strong competitive drive for success in reaching your goals.

• Demonstrated ability to receive and apply feedback, and continuously improve performance.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Results-oriented, highly productive, self-starter who can multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work on-site in the Redmond office daily.
