About the Role

Description

  • Ensure fish is handled carefully and placed correctly
  • Open boxes of fresh and frozen fish and place product on tables or racks
  • Ensure fish is handled carefully and placed correctly
  • Check gel packs and report any issues to a supervisor
  • Dispose of box materials properly and stack empty boxes
  • Move racks to refrigeration areas as needed 
  • Keep your work area clean and organized
  • Follow all food safety, quality, and safety rules
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by a supervisor

Requirements


  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment
  • Willing to clean work areas using approved chemicals (training provided)
  • Basic English and math skills
  • Production or food handling experience is a plus, but not required
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
