Responsibilities :

 The Billing Business Analyst is responsible for the delivery of integrated electronic invoice presentment solutions to external customers. This includes the use of Microsoft and Unix based tools to develop and deliver internal and external solutions that support custom and electronic invoice presentment solutions. This position is responsible for developing the implementation schedule/plan and driving effective project management to ensure timely delivery.  

 

DISPLAYS – The Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors indicating how tasks / responsibilities will be performed (Functional/Technical Competencies) 

  • Advanced technical knowledge in the different business platforms and integrations.  

  • Proficiency in programming languages. (Java, UNIX Shell, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, .NET, VB, PERL)  

  • Strong understanding of back-office systems (orders, billing, collections)  

  • Excellent project management and leadership skills  

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred)  

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills 

 

 

DOES – The tasks/ responsibilities that the job performs to address requirements in Key Result Areas 

  • Lead development and delivery of electronic invoice presentment solutions  

  • Manage customer data mapping using EDI and eCommerce standards  

  • Build pre- and post-invoice presentment support tools to ensure accuracy and collectability  

  • Oversee vendor management and ensure SLA compliance  

  • Create and maintain functional and technical documentation  

  • Develop implementation plans and manage project timelines  

  • Drive process improvement initiatives and strategic projects  

  • Provide accurate reporting and root cause analysis for operational issues

Relevant Credentials 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics or related field (preferred) 

  • Advanced knowledge of SDLC and project management methodologies 

  • 2+ years billing experience in corporate or financial setting (desired)

  • Willing to support North America/ US Time and Holidays 

  • Flexibility of working schedules as the role will require on a per need basis 

  • Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple priorities
