About The Company
We have been pet sitting and dog walking in Elk Grove since 2004. *In your own home visits- for vacations, in the hospital, or on a family emergency away from home. *Midday dog walks for long days at work or a day trip *Puppy care and advisement *feeding, water, pick up and scoop poop, sweep up around litter box. *medication administration We strive to keep your pet safe and happy while you are away. Mid day dog walks are one of our most popular services all year long with a dog walker letting themselves in, leashing up your dog, and taking a good 20-30 minute walk. We will come and meet you first and take your dog for a test walk to make sure we are a good fit for each other. (We are unable to accept unruly dogs, biters, and fearful dogs for our dog walking and pet sitting services).

Karla’s Pet Care is looking for another awesome pet sitter to join our growing team!

What You’ll Do:

  • Care for dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets & reptiles in clients’ homes

  • 30-minute drop-in visits & walks:
    • Morning: 7–10 AM
    • Midday: 11 AM–2 PM
    • Evening: 5–8 PM

  • Playtime, walks, meals, cuddles (yes—puppies & kittens included!)

  • Must be available on weekends & holidays

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 21+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S. for at least 12 months

  • Local, full-time Elk Grove resident

  • Experience having your own pets or caring for others’ pets preferred 🐕🐈

  • Able to pass a background check

  • Car + insurance required

  • Committed & reliable for at least 12 months
