About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Dental Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair services for dental offices throughout the Los Angeles area. This is a full-time, field-based position requiring daily travel within an assigned territory.

This role is best suited for a technician who can operate independently, manage a daily service route, and represent the company professionally in dental offices with minimal supervision.

You will be joining a well-established and growing company operating in multiple states, with a strong reputation for quality service, reliability, and long-term client partnerships.

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Perform preventive maintenance on dental equipment
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair dental equipment on site
  • Service dental chairs, delivery systems, compressors, vacuums, sterilizers, and related equipment
  • Identify equipment issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Accurately document service calls and work performed
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with dental office staff and providers
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct in clinical environments
  • Travel daily throughout the Los Angeles metro area

  

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience servicing dental equipment in clinical environments
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage daily service schedules
  • Experience working directly with dental office staff and providers
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift  and transport tools and equipment as required

Experience with one or more of the following manufacturers is strongly preferred:

  • A-dec
  • Midmark
  • Pelton & Crane
  • Dentsply Sirona
  • Planmeca
  • Belmont
  • Air Techniques
  • NSK
  • KaVo
  • DentalEZ

  

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Dental equipment manufacturer training or certifications
  • X-ray or radiation safety certification
  • OSHA or electrical safety training

Compensation and Benefits

  • $33–$40 per hour, depending on experience
