Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and organised individual to cover an employee taking maternity leave in our Stores team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone confident, calm, and patient, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring correct labelling and storage.
     

  • Monitor stock levels and place orders for low-stock items.
     

  • Process production and sales orders on SAP, including GRNs and picking lists.
     

  • Maintain stores to the required standards of organisation and labelling.
     

  • Capture product photos and update product information accurately.
     

  • Assist with ad hoc purchases, Takealot orders, and answer calls as required.
     

Authorities:

  • Process and release stock, sales, and production orders within agreed limits.
     

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient stock control processes.
     

  • Maintain optimum stock levels to prevent production delays.
     

  • Ensure stores remain organised and compliant with ISO standards.
     

  • Keep open purchase orders within target limits and ensure timely GRN processing.
     

Personal Attributes:

  • Confident, calm, and patient under pressure.
     

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
     

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
    Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

 

Qualifications

Advantages:

  • Previous experience in stock control, warehousing, or stores management is preferred but not essential.  Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.

Contract: Maternity Cover – Immediate Start until End October 2026
