About The Company
Golden Aluminum, Inc., founded in 1983 by Coors Brewing Co., is a privately held, ISO 9001 certified aluminum casting and rolling mill manufacturing facility located in Fort Lupton, Colorado. Our patented casting process offers a broad range of alloys, any thickness, any coating and any color aluminum. We produce aluminum sheet gauges from .005 inches to .032 inches, and maintain tolerances of +/- .0002 inches. We are a FDA coated aluminum supplier. Today we make aluminum roll stock for: • Tab stock, bare and coated, for beverage and food containers • Food and other provisional containers • E-clean processed aluminum for electronic components • Building products including window blinds and window components • Food end and body stock • Beverage caps and closures.

We are a continuous casting aluminum rolling mill who established operations in 1984 and located in Fort Lupton Colorado, 35 miles north of downtown Denver. We are the proud owner of a patented casting process that supplies coiled aluminum sheet to the packaging and automotive markets with a broad range of alloys, thicknesses, and coatings. IT Support Specialist Benefits:

IT Support Specialist Job Summary:

· Provides support for users with desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.

· Performs hardware setup, basic cable runs and routine troubleshooting

· Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues, performs system maintenance and assists users with software installation, updates and configuration.

· Helps users understand and effectively use technology.

· Performs routine maintenance on hardware and software to ensure reliability and performance.

· Monitors network and system alerts using existing tools; escalates potential security and/or system issues to senior IT staff or external partners as needed.

· Documents solutions, processes and common issues to improve team efficiency and user support.

· Communicates effectively with users, team members and vendors to resolve issues and coordinate improvements.

Requirements

· Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.

· Position supports manufacturing facility that operates 24/7/365 and must be willing to be responsive as needed for urgent issues.

· Foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems (desktop and server)

· Basic understanding of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and wireless LAN (Wi-Fi)

· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Sharepoint)

· Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities.

· Strong logical thinking, problem-solving and research skills.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively

· Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer focus.

· Willingness to learn new technologies and processes through training, documentation and hands-on experience.
