As a Project Coordinator at Advanced Underground Solutions (AUS), you play a vital role in supporting the execution, coordination, and compliance of civil construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, field teams, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, you help ensure ensures projects meet regulatory requirements, stay on schedule, and maintain quality standards throughout the construction lifecycle.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and understands the importance of organization, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Your work directly supports project schedules, quality standards, and successful delivery from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong focus on permitting and inspections.
- Schedule, track, and document required inspections, ensuring timely completion and proper recordkeeping.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project files, including permits, inspection reports, compliance documentation, and correspondence.
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, budgeting support, and administrative coordination across teams.
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, inspectors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
- Monitor site activities and documentation for adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare progress reports and assist with internal and client-facing project updates.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting regulations.
- Experience with DOT, municipal, or utility projects.
- Understanding of environmental compliance and safety standards.
- 1–3 years of experience in civil construction or project coordination.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and inspection requirements.
