About the Role

Buck & Rider is looking for natural hosts with a passion for exceptional hospitality. Do you thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment where every guest experience is crafted to feel unforgettable? We’re looking for a polished, personable, and poised Maitre d’ to be a strong presence at the front door. 


At Buck & Rider, we believe the guest experience begins long before they ever sit down and the Maitre d’ sets the tone. You will be the face of the brand, orchestrating warm welcomes, managing seamless service flow, and building genuine relationships. 


Day in the life: 

  • Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and polish 
  • Manage ‘priority seating’ and the flow of service for a busy dining room and happy hour 
  • Cultivate a welcoming, personalized experience for every guest 
  • Coordinate closely with management, servers, and the kitchen to ensure peak performance
  • Use of iPad technology through Sevenrooms reservation platform 
  • Utilize a calm, composed demeanor with the ability to multitask under pressure 
  • Maintain an atmosphere of calm and luxury, even during high-volume service

Requirements: 

  • Poised, polished and impeccable presented 
  • Excellent customer service 
  • A natural connector with strong emotional intelligence and presence
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both co-workers and guests 
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced, team environment  
  • Have a current AZ Food Handler's/Servesafe card or ability to obtain
