About the Role
<p><strong>Is this job for you?</strong></p> <p>Faherty is seeking a dynamic Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead, elevate, and streamline hiring across both our HQ and Retail organizations. This role will play a&nbsp;critical part in scaling our talent engine by building structure, optimizing processes, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience across all touchpoints.&nbsp;You will begin with a roughly 50/50 focus on Retail and HQ recruitment, partnering closely with the People Team, Field Leadership, and Hiring Managers to establish&nbsp;consistent hiring systems, processes, and training. As core Retail recruiting operations&nbsp;become established and self-sustaining, the role will evolve to be primarily HQ-focused,&nbsp;with continued partnership and support for Retail hiring needs as required.This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment leader who thrives in fast-paced<br>environments, enjoys building from the ground up, and is passionate about finding and&nbsp;developing exceptional talent.<br><br></p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <p><strong>Retail Talent Acquisition (50% initially; phased down as systems mature)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and implement standardized, bias-mitigated interview guides and candidate scorecards for all Retail roles to ensure consistent, inclusive hiring practices.</li> <li>Train and coach Store Leaders and Field Managers on structured interviewing, emotional intelligence-based selection, and seamless ATS usage (Greenhouse).</li> <li>Lead high-volume retail recruiting during the build phase, ensuring timely, high-quality hiring for priority stores and markets.</li> <li>Develop and execute hyper-local, creative sourcing strategies for challenging or competitive talent markets.</li> <li>Ensure Retail job descriptions are accurate, inclusive, and aligned with Faherty’s brand and values.</li> <li>Partner with People &amp; Culture on a consistent, joyful onboarding experience for store-level new hires.</li> <li>Track short-term retail recruiting metrics, ensure ATS data cleanliness, and evaluate process adherence across the field.</li> <li>Conduct competitive benchmarking for market compensation, hiring standards, and best-in-class retail TA practices.</li> <li>Transition Retail responsibilities as scalable tools, training, and processes become fully operational.</li> </ul> <p><strong>HQ Talent Acquisition (50% initially; long-term primary focus)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage full-cycle recruiting for HQ roles, ensuring a structured, efficient, and elevated candidate experience.</li> <li>Train and guide Hiring Managers on Greenhouse, interview enablement, competency-based selection, and consistent hiring best practices.</li> <li>Ensure all HQ job descriptions are up-to-date, inclusive, and tied to required skills, competencies, and brand values.</li> <li>Partner with the Director of People Operations on onboarding strategies and experience enhancements for corporate hires.</li> <li>Support workforce planning, identifying future talent needs and building proactive pipelines.</li> <li>Own creative sourcing efforts for niche, hard-to-fill, or future HQ roles.</li> <li>Optimize ROI for recruitment tools and platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, and any external search partners.</li> <li>Maintain data accuracy, reporting, dashboards, and talent metrics for HQ hiring.</li> <li>Continuously refine the candidate experience, from first touch to offer close.</li> <li>Identify, onboard, and manage external recruiting partners when needed.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>4–5+ years of talent acquisition experience, ideally across both HQ and Retail&nbsp;environments in a fast-paced retail, lifestyle, or fashion brand.</li> <li>Proven success developing scalable, repeatable recruiting strategies and building processes from scratch.</li> <li>Experience supporting both high-volume retail hiring and corporate searches.</li> <li>Strong sourcing skills with a creative, resourceful mindset.</li> <li>Ability to coach and influence hiring managers and field leaders at all levels.</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.</li> <li>Comfort navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and building structure where&nbsp;none exists.</li> <li>Strong HR knowledge, including understanding of state and federal employment&nbsp;laws.</li> <li>Experience with Greenhouse required; Rippling preferred.</li> <li>A strong work ethic, humility, and a “no task is too small” mentality.</li> <li>Intellectual curiosity and passion for continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p><em>We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry.
