Role Purpose
The Paid Acquisition Specialist executes and optimizes brand’s paid traffic campaigns with precision, speed, and accountability. You drive efficient, high-quality traffic across Meta, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, and emerging platforms—directly contributing to scalable revenue growth while building deep platform expertise under senior leadership guidance.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role built for rapid progression: master tactical execution today, earn increasing autonomy and ownership tomorrow, and grow into a full buyer/strategist as you deliver consistent results in a performance-first DTC supplements brand.
**Core Accountabilities**
1. **Campaign Execution & Daily Optimization** Hands-on management of assigned campaigns: launch ads, adjust bids, monitor spend/performance, pause low-performers, and implement daily optimizations to improve ROAS, CPA, CTR, and overall efficiency on Meta, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, and other platforms as directed.
2. **Testing & Iteration Execution** Run structured A/B and multivariate tests for audiences, creatives, copy, placements, offers, and funnels. Set up tests accurately, track results in real time, and surface clear observations to inform scaling and iteration decisions.
3. **Performance Monitoring & Insight Contribution** Track core metrics (CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPC, spend efficiency, MER) via dashboards and platform tools. Identify anomalies, flag opportunities or red flags early, and prepare concise performance summaries to support weekly reviews and reporting.
4. **Tracking & Data Hygiene Support** Assist in maintaining pixel/event tracking, conversion APIs, server-side events, and attribution setup. Help diagnose and resolve basic discrepancies or signal issues to ensure clean, reliable data for optimization.
5. **Creative & Cross-Functional Collaboration** Partner daily with creative and CRO teams: review ad performance data, provide specific feedback on assets, suggest data-backed iteration ideas, and help ensure paid traffic lands on optimized funnels, landing pages, and PDPs.
6. **Process Adherence & Continuous Improvement** Strictly follow SOPs, naming conventions, budget controls, and compliance standards (platform policies + FTC/FDA supplement advertising rules). Proactively suggest process tweaks and improvements as you gain experience and context.
**Decision Rights & Key Interfaces**
- **Owns:** Tactical campaign execution, daily optimizations, test implementation, and performance monitoring within assigned budgets, strategies, and guardrails set by the Head of PPC.
- **Reports to:** Head of PPC
- **Collaborates closely with:**
- Head of PPC on campaign priorities, testing plans, and performance debriefs
- Creative team on asset performance feedback and iteration loops
- Director of Shopify Growth on traffic-to-conversion alignment
- VP Demand / VP Ops & Finance on broader context around unit economics and margins
The Paid Acquisition Specialist executes with guidance and supervision—no independent strategy, major budget shifts, or platform-level decisions without approval.

- Zero compliance violations or major tracking breakdowns in your campaigns
- 1–3 years hands-on experience running paid ads (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and/or Amazon Ads preferred) in DTC/e-commerce (supplements, health/wellness, or regulated categories a strong plus)
- Solid working knowledge of ad platforms: targeting, bidding basics, creative setup, and optimization levers
- Analytical comfort: able to read dashboards, interpret metrics, and spot patterns/trends
- Eagerness to master unit economics, attribution in privacy environments, and performance marketing fundamentals
- Detail-oriented executor who thrives on data, quick feedback, and high-accountability loops
- Strong communicator: provides clear updates, asks smart questions, and collaborates effectively
- High-velocity mindset: adapts fast in a scaling DTC brand with shifting priorities
