Position Summary:
This position supports payroll, benefits, and accounting functions by assisting with multi-location payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance support, journal entries, and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll & Benefits
- Assist with processing multi-location payroll accurately and timely
- Maintain payroll records, employee files, and required documentation
- Support compliance with California wage & hour, break, and tip reporting requirements
- Assist with employee benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Respond to routine payroll and benefits questions; escalate as appropriate
- Assist with payroll reporting and audits
Accounting Support
- Assist with preparing and posting journal entries
- Assist with account reconciliations beyond payroll-related accounts
- Support team with other accounting and finance-led projects
- Assist with period closing tasks

Requirements
Qualifications
- Payroll and/or accounting experience or relevant coursework/degree in related field preferred
· Basic understanding of payroll processes or accounting concepts
- Hospitality or multi-entity experience preferred
· Proficiency with Excel and comfort learning new systems
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to learn
