About the Role

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards, applicable laws and regulations.

  • Work closely with Group Contract team in the feasibility studies in order to determine the economic value of projects.

  • Manage and supervise the preparation of tender documents (e.g. bill of quantities, specifications, contract conditions, drawings etc).

  • Monitor and ensure that contract administration professionals are coordinating effectively with the various architects and engineers throughout the project (planning, concept, preliminary, final etc.)

  • Ensure that the measurement of quantities for building materials specified for the BoQ accurately reflects the specifications and drawings prepared by architects and engineers.

  • Ensure that all specifications documents for all designs comply with statutory requirements; ensure that the specifications document is updated to reflect any changing statutory requirements

  • Coordinate with various contractors in order to develop an understanding of the technical specifications, costs and prices of their supplies.

  • Ensure that tender documents are updated based on feedback attained and that costs are re-calculated where designs or specifications are altered.

  • Advise the project team on contractual claims raised by contractors (as and when required).
