Your Job Opportunity


The School-Based Therapist partners with district staff and families to increase access to mental health services for middle and high school students in the Gahanna-Jefferson district. 


•Provides diagnostic assessments and mental health therapy to students primarily at school during the day. 

•Virtual and community-based services are offered over school breaks or as clinically indicated. 

•Fosters meaningful collaboration with staff across multiple buildings to support students and families, streamline referrals, and enhance access to mental health resources. 



Requirements

Requirements:


•Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy

•Must hold an active Ohio Social Work, Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist License (LISW, LPCC, IMFT preferred, LSW, LPC, or MFT with experience).

•Experience with diagnostic assessments and therapy with school-aged children/teens. Experience working in schools is preferred, but not required.

•Must be a self-starter, be able to exhibit flexibility, work independently as well as part of a team, have excellent time-management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel, Google Workspace and working with electronic medical records is preferred.
